I have been working in the mental health and addictions field since moving to the Portland area in 2003, became licensed in Oregon in 2007, and have been in private practice since 2007. During this time, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families to address issues related to mental health, substance abuse, and gambling addiction, and the impact of these on relationships.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s degree (M.S.) in Community Counseling and Specialist in Education degree (Ed.S.) in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
My certifications and licenses include: LPC--Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon CADC III--Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor III NCC--National Certified Counselor
